Power Hammer Drawing - This is not intended as a construction plan, only my preliminary layout for the hammer that I built. Plans are available from Jerry Allan at this link:
Power Hammer Ram and Guide Drawing - This is how I built the ram and the guide. I used 1/4 inch UHMW, and it has held up well.
Use UHMW strips at the top and at the bottom of the guide- not for the entire length, because that can result in too much friction and side-to-side play.
